To the girl in the circle— You’re not just th To the girl in the circle—

You’re not just throwing a ball.
You’re setting the tone.
You’re carrying the weight of every inning, every out, every moment.

You lead with your presence, whether the crowd is loud or the field is quiet.
And while everyone else sees the pitch, they don’t always see the pressure.

They don’t see the hours you’ve put in.
The mental battles you’ve fought.
The times you had to shake off a mistake and still throw with confidence.

Because pitching in softball isn’t just physical—it’s deeply mental.
It’s being in control when everything around you feels like chaos.
It’s trusting your work, your team, and yourself—especially when the game gets tough.

You’re the calm in the storm.
The anchor of the team.
And even when no one says it—you’re the reason they believe they’ve got a shot.

You don’t ask for the spotlight.
But you take on the pressure with quiet strength.

And when things get hard…
You dig deep.
You breathe.
You deliver.

So to the pitcher out there working in the off hours,
The one who’s learning to trust herself,
The one who keeps showing up even on the hard days—

Keep going.

Because you’re not just playing a position.
You’re owning the game.
And you were born to lead from that circle.
